A Multi-Tenant Resource Management System for Multi-FPGA Systems

FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) based accelerators are attracting significant interest in cloud computing systems. Combining multi-FPGA systems with brings a new perspective to the reconfigurable research. However, multi-tenancy of system has not been fully discussed previous researches. In this paper, we propose multi-tenant resource management system, named FiC-RM, for system. FiC-RM provides users set resources according their requirements and allows them exclusively access boards interconnection network. To achieve this, placement algorithm which is key efficiently share limited resources. We demonstrate controls practical scale Moreover, Our simulation study shows that our achieved 3 4% improvement average usage 20-second reduction response time, compared other existing naive algorithms.
